About me

I’m Patrick Fischer, an IT systems administrator focused on Linux, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure. I’ve been into free software and Linux since childhood – long before it became my profession. What started as tinkering with old distributions is my day-to-day work now: I run complex systems and value maintainability, stability, and clear structure.

I work with small and medium-sized businesses in Lower Austria and across the country – on-site or remote, whichever fits.

Before I sell anything, I talk to you. I want to understand what you actually need before proposing a solution – even if that means a smaller scope than what was originally asked for.

I work with current, open-source technology rather than “that’s how we’ve always done it.” Systems that can be properly documented today, and still make sense to someone else if it’s ever needed.
